We are currently recruiting a Principal Mining Engineer (underground Coal specialist) for an international Mining Consultancy with technical expertise and projects spanning across a huge range of commodities and operations. They pride themselves on a collaborative, team orientated approach that delivers exceptional outcomes and the best possible service to their clients.
The role will entail fostering and maintaining relationships within the Coal Mining industry, Project Management and business development. The successful candidate will have a hands on approach. The ability to Mentor junior staff and liaise with a range of stakeholders is essential.
You will have Tertiary Qualifications in Mine Engineering, a minimum of 10 years experience in operational or consulting work within the Australian Coal Mining industry, and a strong focus on underground mine design. Experience using mine design software such as XPAC and Vulcan is essential.
