Reporting to the Superintendent Track Maintenance, within the Track & Signals team your duties will include:
As the successful candidate you will possess the following:
You will be based at our Redmont camp on a fly-in fly-out 8:6 roster. Redmont is located on the BHPB rail line, approximately 240kms South East of Port Hedland, West Australia. The facilities at the FIFO village include a fully equipped gym, swimming pool and sports courts. All rooms at the villages have their own en-suite bathroom, television, refrigerator and air-conditioning.

Position
Reporting to the Superintendent Track Maintenance, within the Track & Signals team your duties will include:
- Planning and protecting track activities, prioritising allocation of tasks
- Ensuring safe working procedures are implemented, updated and adhered too
- Overseeing monthly and annual expenditure relating to track protection officers
- Supervising the daily activities of the work group for optimum use of work windows
- Effectively leading and coaching the team to meet work schedules and productivity targets
As the successful candidate you will possess the following:
- Strong knowledge of heavy haul rail
- Demonstrated ability to plan work, allocate resources and monitor progress
- Computer literacy in Microsoft office suite and computerized maintenance management systems
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on employee engagement
