Job Description

The Field Service Rep will commission and troubleshoot Dresser-Rand manufactured Equipments. Requires ability to troubleshoot various mechanical systems on turbine and compressor equipment. Provide effective communication between Dresser-Rand and client during the course of project execution and problem solving.

This position is to work located in Campinas/SP, allocated in several projects in the Field, in onshore and offshore jobs.

Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred):

Required:

Technical High School Mechanical

A minimum three (3) years related experience required

Strong client facing and communication skills, (written and spoken)

Able and willing to travel with short notice for up to 90% of the time

Able and willing to work overtime and/or irregular hours

Able and willing to work in remote, possibly international locations

Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project



Preferred:

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related is desirable.

Ability to work involved in technical issues and to be trained on the job and internationally for the position, if necessary.

Good communication skills in English is desirable.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:


Ability to take on assignments, (International and Domestic) for up to 60 days on short notice

Despite working alone in a client facility most of the time, must be a team player and willing to contribute to the continued growth of the department

Must possess a bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or a High School graduate with experience in Mechanical issues, preferably working on rotating equipment

Natural leadership and communicative skills

Ability to assist with equipment inspections in Repair Centers, depending on the workload

Must be able to lift 10 kg / 22 lbs. Ability to take on assignments, (International and Domestic) for up to 60 days on short notice

Despite working alone in a client facility most of the time, must be a team player and willing to contribute to the continued growth of the department
