Use your superior industry and technical experience, to make a difference for our Queensland operations in this management level role. This role is primarily Brisbane based with occasional travel to site when required (up to 20%).

The primary responsibilities of the role include, but are not restricted to:
As the Maintenance Superintendent - Mechanical you will lead the mechanical maintenance team that helps deliver the reliability and performance expected from the business. This will be achieved by:
  • Managing the workload and objectives set by the Maintenance Manager.
  • Recruiting and developing competent resources across the range of required disciplines to deliver on these objectives.
  • Being accountable for the overall ownership of the mechanical maintenance process, inclusive of planning, for assigned assets. This responsibility involves leading the development and implementation of technical systems, procurement and contract administration processes and supporting documentation.
  • The role leads discipline improvement and 'step change' around equipment reliability, makes recommendations and provides technical advice on equipment integrity compliance, condition assessment, reliability improvement, standards, guidelines & specifications and building capability within the maintenance team.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a number of the following key requirements:
  • Relevant trade and extensive experience with a focus on mechanical maintenance in the Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Rotating equipment experience including gas turbines, centrifugal/screw/reciprocating compressors, combustion engines, electric motors, and pumps.
  • Experience and knowledge with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Defect Elimination Management (Root Cause Analysis).
  • Extensive experience in equipment commissioning, condition monitoring, overhaul, refurbishment & quality assurance.
  • Demonstrated safety leadership and motivational skills.
  • Sound understanding of Health Safety and Environmental practices.
