Job Description

ARINC do Brazil is looking for a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to support our Sao Paulo, Brazil location. In this role as the on-site Engineering Representative you will be provide technical leadership for the Guarulhos Airport systems integration project. This person will perform the following duties:

• Participate in the detailed requirements gathering, design, implementation, documentation and support activities of the project.
• Provide guidance and expert advice to the program manager and customer representative, as needed.
• Assist with the install, support, and maintenance of servers, user workstations, or other specialized computer/network systems components.

Other duties include, but are not limited to: scripting or light programming, training computer users, detailed diagnostic troubleshooting and analysis.

Desired Skills & Experience

Required Experience:

• Five (5) or more years IT systems integrations engineering experience.
• Possess significant technical knowledge and skill in assisting with the performance of daily administration and support of complex Information Technology systems.
• Outgoing, pleasant individual with strong Customer Service attitude.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly solve problems or make sound recommendations for resolution.
• Speaks and writes Portuguese and English.

Extensive experience and technical support:

• Database management systems (MSSQL)
• SQL
• XML
• Systems Integration
• Data communications (serial, TCP/IP, UDP, etc.) technologies
• Microsoft and Unix/Linux server systems
• Software configuration control/management

Desired Experience:

Prior Airport systems integration experience with specific focus:

• Airport Operational Databases (AODB)Resource Management Systems (RMS)
• Public Address Systems (PAS)
• Electronic Visual Information Display Systems

Education and Certification Required: BS in Information Technology or related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience.
