Job Description

Broadcom is developing the next generation Single Port 10G/40G Cloud Controller - Server Class. This Cloud Controller device is designed targeting customers that value low power consumption with high performance and low latency. The NX1 Verification Team is looking for a verification lead that can fulfill the following responsibilities:

1. Overseeing and tracking the verification team status from development phase to chip tape out.
2. Developing functional verification testplan for full chip and block level.
3. Designing and developing verification environment and test suites for full chip and block level using e Specman.
4. Working closely with RTL designers to verify the functionality of the block and/or full chip.
5. Preparing environment for running gate-level sims.
6. Generating functional test vectors and bringing up device on ATE
7. Providing post silicon bug hunting and debugging.

Job Requirements
1. Required a BS degree with 15 years, or a MS degree with 12 years, or a PhD with 9 years, or equivalent experience.
2. Experience in verifying designs at system and block level
3. Strong e Specman, Verilog, PERL, TCL, C/C++ programming skills
4. Must be able to multitask, self motivated, detail oriented
5. Must have an excellent communication and a team player
6. Must have a hands on experience in the ASIC design process
- Interpreting architecture requirement and translating to test plan
- Knowledge of the RTL design, simulators, synthesis, and timing closure process
7. Must be proficient with major EDA simulators
8. Must have good communication and documentation skills.
9. Must be a self-starter and a strong team leader.
10. Experience in System Verilog is a plus
11. Experience with VMM/OVM/UVM is a plus
12. Knowledge of Ethernet Protocol, PCI Express, and ARM architecture is a plus
