Job Description
Pipelines Operations SupervisorAs the Pipeline Operations Supervisor you will assist the Superintendent with the delivery of all operability aspects of the main Pipeline Network for the APLNG Upstream Phase 1 Project from design through construction to commissioning and operation.
The role will liaise with the Pipeline Project group and their leader to develop operations design criteria and standards, participate in all relevant risk reviews, and provide technical and operational expertise and support for the APLNG Upstream Phase 1 main Pipeline Network operation. The Pipeline Operations Supervisor will also assist the Superintendent to employ and develop the APLNG pipeline field operational team.
The successful candidate will have team leadership and supervision experience, and demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across all areas of the business. You will have extensive high pressure transmission gas pipeline experience in an operational environment. You will have a proven safety record and a strong knowledge of applicable operational standards.
In addition you will demonstrate a consultative approach to problem solving and a good understanding of design principles and risk review. Large project and commissioning experience is desirable, and trade or tertiary qualifications would be highly regarded.
