Job Description

Engineering and Technology Excellence is the foundation of innovation and new product
development. As a response to our commitment to functional excellence, we have
designed a rotational development program focused on developing Eaton’s technical
leadership talent pipeline. The Engineering and Technology Leadership Program (ETLP)
will prepare participants for future functional and/or technological leadership positions by
offering value added rotational assignments in which candidates will have the opportunity
to gain engineering design and development experience with Eaton’s new products and
technologies.
 
 

Essential Functions:
 
The program consists of 2 one-year assignments in different business division and technology areas
with experiences that will be focuses on new products and cross business innovations.
 
Leadership Exposure: Participants will have a high level of interaction with Eaton Leadership.
Participants will be expected to formally present project updates to Engineering Leadership and will
 
receive multiple opportunities for networking and formal training. Training needs will focus on both
 
technical skills as well as leadership competencies.
 
Sample Post-Program Position: Graduates of the program should be ready for key engineering roles,
ranging from product design and engineering to program management.
 
Locations: Various locations in Germany
 
Date of Entry: August 2013

Desired Skills & Experience

l Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering with a focus on electrical
l Outstanding academic credentials
l Desire and ambition to be a future technology leader
l Relevant industry experience a plus
l Authorization to work in the European Union or Schengen area is required
