Job Description – Marina Administration Manager
 
 
Job purpose:
To manage all berthing administration sales with a high level of customer focus
 
Nature & scope:

• Primary focus is efficient customer service. Ensure that all customers’ enquiries and satisfaction are achieved.
• The management and leadership of the Administration team
• Liaising with members with Both regular contact with existing members and recruiting new members.
• Dealing with member complaints
• Generating new member sales and creating member contracts.
• Retaining and renewing existing memberships
• Annual revenue collection; following up with the clients to ensure that all deposits and payments are received on time.
• Controlling all correspondence between government authorities for the issuance of permits required.
• Maintaining member’s files, departmental files.
• Controls all aspects of marina administration and bookings for berths and moorings.
• Assists the sales and marketing manager with events management.
• Ordering office and marina supplies
• Efficient communication to all marina staff.
• Develop, maintain and enhance long-term relationships with external service providers.

 
Reporting Line:
Reports to General Manager/Marina manager
 
Principal accountabilities:
The overall efficient daily administration of marina berthing in addition to ensuring members are contacted on a regular basis and efficient customer service is provided to them.

Desired Skills & Experience

Qualifications & Experience:
 

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Preferable to have previous sales knowledge
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office, Pacsoft MMS (or other marina management software)
• Technical knowledge of marinas, berthing systems, boat owners needs.
• Excellent communication skills. Bilingual, Arabic and English
