Job Description
- Lead a team of scientists and technicians and oversee the production of antibodies and antibody fragments in mammalian expression systems for research and pre-clinical applications
- Collaborate closely with internal and external project teams and ensure the seamless supply of high quality antibody material for all projects
- Perform innovative technology and process development to continuously optimize MorphoSys AG's antibody production platforms
- Represent your area of responsibility across functions and departments, at customers, collaboration partners and conferences
- Report to the Group Leader/Head of Production
Desired Skills & Experience
- PhD in the field of biology/biotechnology combined with several years of relevant industry experience
- Proven leadership responsibility in a comparable position in a biopharmaceutical/biotech company
- Deep understanding of transient and stable mammalian production systems
- Sound knowledge of expression and purification of therapeutic antibodies for research and therapeutic applications
- Creative character with innovative mindset regarding technology and process development
- Team player with outstanding management and communication skills
- Excellent command of English and German
