Job Description

Tax Manager
 
This role reports to the Head of Legal and Tax.
 
Description:
  • International Tax planning in various jurisdictions, coordination with external tax advisors and/or coordination with local counsel/advisors in relevant applicable jurisdictions
  • Implementation of planning and setting up in particular jurisdictions
  • Company Income Tax, both in local jurisdictions and possibly at Parent level


Desired Skills & Experience

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
  • University degree from the English jurisdiction in either Tax Law (specialisation) or Accounting – Tax (specialisation)
  • Excellent command of the English language and legal (tax) terminology
  • Previous work experience either in an English law legal practice or in the tax department of an international accounting firm
  • At least 5 years of work experience in international tax matters
  • Must be willing to relocate to live and work in Athens

Ocean Rig own and operate Leiv Eiriksson and Eirik Raude, two of the world's largest and most modern drilling rigs, built for ultra deep water and extreme weather conditions. We have also taken delivery of four brand new 6th generation drillships all of which are operational. To continue with the growth of Ocean Rig, four further deepwater drillships have been ordered from Samsung Heavy Industries in Korea, these are expected in 2013.
