This highly regarded and rapidly growing international mining contractor is seeking experienced and dedicated open cut

 

Maintenance Supervisors & Diesel Fitters for one of its current projects. Rarely do they enter the market to employ externally but the business in now in urgent need of experienced personnel. They are renowned for investing heavily in their staff both financially and culturally, you will not be disappointed.

 

The role

 

Seeking Maintenance Supervisors and Diesel Fitterswho have previous experience across all types of machinery, from CAT trucks, graders and dozers to Komatsu diggers.

 

As a Supervisoryou will enjoy taking full ownership of the Maintenance team and managing a medium sized team of tradesmen. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent your duties will include but not limited to; liaising with clients, maintaining efficiency, coordinating your crews, utilising management systems as well as building and improving the existing systems and coordinating work in a timely and efficient manner.

 

As a Diesel Fitteryou will be responsible for the maintenance of wide variety of mining mobile plant including PC5500 excavators and 793 dump trucks. Your duties will take you through scheduled and preventative maintenance to first response problem solving in the field utilizing your 6+ years' experience working in open cut mining.

 

You will (Supervisors):

• Have 3-5 years experience in a supervisory or managerial position
• Be 5-10 years post trade
• Experience with a diverse range of open cut machinery
• Have experience managing medium sized crews or teams
• Be trade qualified

You will (Fitters):

• Have 6+ years post trade experience working in the open cut mining industry
• Have a strong knowledge of the CAT and Komatsu product ranges
• The ability to work in the field autonomously along with having excellent diagnostic skills
• Strong safety focus and attitude
