Our Cracow Gold Mine has announced that the Underground Mining Operations will transition from a contractor to an Owner Miner workforce. As a result of this decision a number of exciting opportunities have become available to join our Underground Cracow Gold Operation.
What's on offer
Reporting into the Maintenance Supervisor, we are currently seeking experienced and motivated Mechanical Fitters to join our underground Maintenance team. The Mechanical Fitter will undertake scheduled maintenance, repairs, and installations for all underground mobile Equipment. You will ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and incorporate sound safety standards.
To be successful
To be considered for these roles you must have at least 2 years' experience in fixed and mobile plant maintenance in a mining environment, coupled with a trade certificate. You will have exceptional working standards, with a strong safety focus and be technically adept. You will also be able to demonstrate behaviours that align to our values - Safety, Excellence, Accountability and Respect.
Cracow Operation
Cracow Gold Operation is located in central Queensland, Australia, approximately 2 kilometres from the township of Cracow and approximately 500 kilometres northwest of the city of Brisbane. Cracow employs around 300 people, including contractors. The operation is a mixture between local personnel, FIFO (fly in and out) and DIDO (drive in and drive out) from primarily the south-east Queensland areas.
