Position - Technical Mining Sales & Business Development
Location- Kalgoorlie base
Travel- Regular travel to industrial and mining sites throughout the Goldfields. Although mining and site based, this is not a fly in fly out role. It is a long term, progressive opportunity that will see you develop yourself both professionally and personally over time.
Industry focus- mining and heavy industry maintenance solutions. In a nutshell, we provide a range of industrial solutions and products that fix problem and make maintenance issues less of a headache for our customers. Our technology is at the forefront of anything else available on the Australian market. We all work with the same goal in mind - to expand our business, to deliver a phenomenal service to our customers and to look after each other
Salary- Base salary plus unlimited commissions plus expenses (car allowance, phone, communication etc)
Ideal candidate- previous industrial sales experience will be very relevant and you must have a strong mechanical aptitude. Prior self employment experience will be highly regarded as this position is very autonomous and will require you to work independently because we do not micro-manage our people. This position is suited to a sales professional wanting to enter the mining sector in a business development capacity, not just someone dreaming about making a squillion dollars overnight by breaking their back on site and spending half their life catching planes
Need to know- your attitude is everything in this position. We will help you to set up and learn our business, but you must be a real self starter looking to build your own empire. This role is all about customer relationships - interpersonal skills are critical. Consider our job ad closely before applying because we select our people very carefully. We will give you plenty of time to set yourself up, become established in your role and develop your own network of accounts and customers. You must bring a strong understanding of industrial products and sales, and ideally you will be coming from a technical sales or heavy industry background. The role will allow you to combine your skills and expertise with your ability to engage with new people and customers. Your attitude is everything in this role.

Relationship building is key to your success. You will be working with a range of decision makers on site, and you must bring ethics, patience and courage and tenacity in your communication tool kit.
