With the scope of these operations ever expanding they are seeking the services of a skilled and experienced Shutdown Planner to help lead the maintenance planning department across one of their large Pilbara based projects. The successful candidate will play a vital role within one of Australia’s biggest iron ore operations. Reporting to the Planning Superintendent, you will be involved in providing shutdown planning support for the Fixed Plant maintenance team.

In this role, your responsibilities will involve working with the team to:

• Participate in the development of budgets and forecast
• Analyse and distribute reports on maintenance activities
• Design and oversee schedules and work activities
• Liaise with the client on site to ensure maximum plant availability and minimised down time
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities for fixed plant equipment

To be successful for this role you will ideally have:

• Trade background with relevant qualifications
• Previous experience in a similar role within the mining industry, specifically planning for shuts involving over 200 personnel
• Previous CMMS experience would be beneficial e.g. JDE SAP etc as well as Excel
• Experience working with fixed plant mining equipment
