Mine Engineer - Become an Alternate Mine Manager in 12 / 18 months

This growing producer are looking for an experienced mine engineer with experience in open cut operations to assist in the development and with the production needs for their new gold project in WA.
This role will have a clear path mapped out for you in order to become an Alternate Mine Manager and more therefor your Quarry Manager certificate is essential for this role.
Duties will include:
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will be degree qualified in Mining Engineering or similar with at least 2+ years of post-graduate experience. Experience in mine production and exposure to planning for open pit operations is essential combined with recent open pit mining experience.. Ideally you will have your WA Unrestricted Quarry Manager's Certificate of Competency and have experience with Surpac.

- Reviewing and signing off mine designs
- Drill & blast designs using Surpac
- Designing the mine extraction sequence and planning mine development
- Creation of weekly plans
- Daily reporting duties
- Arranging and managing daily production meeting
- Assist with weekly & monthly reports
- Assist in creation of three monthly plans
