Health & Safety Advisor - Offshore Vessels

We are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Advisor with offshore/vessel experience to join a major offshore / subsea contractor in WA’s oil & gas industry.
To be considered for this role you must possess experience working on offshore vessels such as Subsea Support Vessel, Construction Support Barge, Supply Vessel, AHTS, PSV, DSV etc
A diploma in Occupational Health & Safety is a minimum requirement as is experience in incident investigation and risk assessments and prior experience working in an offshore environment.
A thorough understanding of Health & Safety requirements as prescribed by NOPSEMA will be vital to the success of any applicant as well as knowledge and understanding of all related legislative requirements as they pertain to the offshore oil & gas industry.
Responsibilities:
• Implementation of project HSE documentation
• Conducting offshore HSE audits / inspections of subcontractors
• Providing project/site/vessel HSE support offshore.
• Developing and conducting project training program, inductions and development of training schedules and procedures
• Incident investigation and reporting
• HAZID facilitation and participation
• Ensure compliance with the HSE Management System
• Development of HSE procedures for offshore operations etc
• Undertake offshore HSE Coordinator coverage duties on project vessels
Candidates with current HUET and BOSIET and Offshore Medical OGUK or UKOOA medical will be highly regarded.
