The opportunity

We are looking for a Project Supervisor, based at our port operations Cape Lambert, where you will manage electrical improvement projects at Cape Lambert. You will deliver projects such as electrical equipment upgrades, installation of new equipment and major shutdown works.

Our port facilities consist of 3 shipping terminals located on the Pilbara coast at Dampier and Cape Lambert which form an essential part of our logistics process. Each terminal has facilities for train unloading, iron ore stockpiling, product blending and ship loading. Current expansion works at Cape Lambert will underpin an increase of our system capacity to 353 million tonnes per annum.

As a part of the growing operation, we are also expanding the local residential town of Wickham with new housing, recreational facilities and amenities in order to provide our employees with comfort and lifestyle.

What the role entails

This position is a great opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual. Working on a family friendly fly in fly out roster (8 days on, 6 days off) and reporting to the Project Execution Superintendent, you will be;

• Identifying improvement opportunities and managing project scoping and planning.
• Managing electrical equipment upgrades, installation of new equipment and major shutdown works.
• Undertaking cost management, contract supervision and risk management.
• Fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

What you will need

To succeed in this new role, you will have;

• An Electrical trade certificate.
• A Relevant experience in project supervision or project management.
• A mining or construction background.
• A strong focus on safety.
