Responsibilities
* Assess costs and estimate the production capabilities and economic value of oil and gas wells, in order to evaluate the economic viability of potential drilling sites
* Analyse data in order to recommend placement of wells and supplementary processes to enhance production
* Monitor production rates, and plan rework processes in order to improve production
* Write technical reports for engineering and management personnel
* Evaluate findings in order to develop, design or test equipment or processes
Skills / Experience Required
* At least 12 months experience in a similar role
* Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology
* Relevant tertiary qualifications
* Strong judgement and decision making skills
* Identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
* Ability to work in remote environments
