This ASX listed company is an exciting and rapidly growing mining house with a proven track-record of operating mines within Australia and internationally. They currently have an extraordinary opportunity for an experienced Manager Mining to work closely with the General Manager Operations and manage all aspects of their flagship underground operation. You will provide strong leadership for a large scale operation and play an integral part in the management team. Some of your key responsibilities will be producing and implementing plans in order to maximize production and ensuring targets are met through clear objectives and continuous staff development. You will also prepare and manage the annual mining plan and budget for the operation as well as ensuring reliability of the fixed assets long term. This is a crucial leadership position suitable for someone who has worked in a similar position previously and wishes to continue to grow their skills in a dynamic and fast- paced mining environment.
You have a WA First Class Mine Manager’s certificate and a tertiary degree in Mining Engineering. You will also have proven experience as a Mining Manager in hard rock mining. As a person you are a strategic thinker and a natural problem-solver with a strong ability to think on your feet. In exchange for your expertise you will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary package (above industry standard), a dynamic team environment working with a rapidly expanding producer on a FIFO lifestyle roster from Perth.
