As the Mining Manager you will be responsible for the management of the overall mining operations. This includes the engineering division, geology, survey, maintenance and the contractor on site. The key focus will be to develop our high performance culture and ensure that the mine meets production targets through efficient well planned and safe mining activities.
With your proven track record you will also be able to refine our current strategies and implement new advantageous procedures. The difference here being the upper management actually listens and will fast track changes if in everyone's best interest.
The role:
This position requires at least 10+ years of experience in OP mines and a QM or 1st class mine managers ticket. You will be degree qualified and ideally come from an engineering background. Experience in managing open pit operations is essential.
This role is being offered Perth-based FIFO on a flexible roster. You will receive an above market staff salary, high super, and an annual bonus based on individual as well as company performance.

- Manage technical services department to ensure continual development.
- Prepare operating plans, budgets and capital expenditure proposals.
- Oversee the development of long range mining plans.
- Continuous improvement strategies to ensure long term targets are met.
