Fleet Maintenance Manager
FLEET MAINTNENANCE MANAGER

Roadtrim Mining & Civil Contracting is a leading mine bulk ore road haulage and civil earthmoving contractor with operations throughout the Pilbara & Goldfield regions of W.A.
Due to continual growth within the Company and the delivery of new equipment, the Port Hedland workshop requires an experienced FLEET MAINTENANCE MANAGER to join their team. You will need strong leadership and managerial skills and have a mechanical background with experience in hydraulics and diagnostics.
JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITES
• Ensure scheduled maintenance and repairs are completed in accordance with Manufacturers guidelines and Company maintenance schedules
• Ensure all documentation associated with work orders, services, repairs and maintenance records are completed and filed
• Maintain safe working procedures ensuring a Safe & Incident Free workplace.
• Team-lead, organise and provide direction for workshop Mechanical Fitters to ensure outstanding performance is achieved and schedules are adhered to.
• Conduct periodical employee performance reviews and conduct interviews for maintenance staff requirements.
• Ensure all maintenance documentation and records are compliant with MRDWA regulations.
• Liaise with the State Fleet Maintenance Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Proven management experience in a similar role coupled with a strong understanding and knowledge of the Transport, Heavy Haulage & Logistics and Mining & Civil Earthmoving Industry.
• Trade qualification.
• Experience in working on Road Train Side Tippers and Prime Movers.
• Decision-making, planning and organising.
• Management of staff and performance management review.
• Critical thinking and the ability to prioritise.
• Knowledge and experience in MRDWA Compliance.
• Initiative and team-leading.
ROSTER
Negotiable FIFO or Port Hedland residential
Flights to all capital cities Australia wide
