This growing gold miner require a Senior Planning Engineer for their flagship underground gold operation in WA to join the tech services team on site.
This operation easily makes production targets and has one of the highest grades of ore in the region.
Reporting directly to the Mining Manager you will be working on a FIFO 8/6 roster and will be responsible for producing designs and schedules for long term planning and production systems for the operation.

Reporting directly to the Mining Manager you will be working on a FIFO 8/6 roster and will be responsible for producing designs and schedules for long term planning and production systems for the operation.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
- Review existing data and produce mine designs
- Produce schedules
- Develop short medium and long-term mine planning (monthly, quarterly, budget and life of mine)
- Assist in producing annual updates
- Liaising with geotechnical team on site
- Develop safe work procedures, in line with Long-Term and Medium-Term design and scheduling system policies
- Develop and continue Life of Mine schedules
- Producing stope design
- Managing and mentoring Planning Engineers
- Tertiary qualifications in Mine Engineering
- 7+ years experience in an underground role
- At least two years previous experience in underground mine planning
- Previous experience as a Senior Engineer in an underground hard rock environment
- Previous experience in managing other personnel on site
- WA Mine Manager Cert - Highly advantageous
