Are you an experienced Welding & Machining Superintendent from an earthmoving equipment background?
This could be the opportunity for you!

Mining giant with operations in North Africa is seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join their team.
Your main function will be to oversee the safe, efficient and cost effective welding and machining maintenance of the mobile equipment on site, as well as the training of subordinates.

Key functions include but are not limited to:

• Ensure all welding and machining maintenance of the earthmoving equipment is carried out according to the company’s safety procedures.
• Assist in drawing up training and development plans and budgets,
• Training and mentoring of personnel.
• Prepare reports as required.

Requirements:

• Relevant trade test.
• 10 years’ experience in the welding and machining maintenance of earthmoving equipment within the mining industry.
• Extensive experience on CAT equipment (please list your experience when applying).
• Diagnostic systems experience.
• French communication skills highly advantageous.
• Previous experience working as an expatriate in a multicultural environment in Africa.
