Our client is a nationally recognised company with their Head Office based in Brisbane where they are delivering multiple construction projects in a variety of industries. Due to a significant increase in current and future long term projects they require the services of several experienced WHS Advisors to join their existing team of highly motivated safety professionals.

These are permanent roles working on a DIDO rotating roster on site in the Dawson Valley, Central QLD living in camp accommodation. The positions are for an immediate start for the successful candidate who wishes to further their careers in Civil Construction within the water pipeline Industry.

You will be reporting to the Project HSSE Manager and liaising with the various Site Mangers, Customers and Suppliers. You will be responsible for building a positive safety culture by developing and implementing effective WHS and Wellness programs. This will involve partnering with, advising and supporting Project leaders to identify and develop appropriate solutions to WHS risks with a focus on continuous improvement.

A salary package range of $167,000 - $187,000 is available dependent on experience, with salaries outside this range available for exceptional candidates only.

Tools of the trade and a fully maintained vehicle are supplied in addition to the package range indicated above.

The successful applicant should have:

• Cert IV in OHS / WHS – Minimum Requirement.
• Drug and Alcohol testing qualification and experience.
• QLD Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator experience.
• Open drivers license.
• Construction Induction Card.
• Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).
• MUST HAVE 2 to 4 years minimum experience with civil construction in a WHS position with Water Pipeline experience being preferred .
• Excellent Communication and Literacy Skills.
• Excellent computer skills and experience with accredited management system conforming to AS/NZS 4801:2001.
• Ability to work with established management system and drive continual improvement.
• Highly developed organisational skills.
• Have the drive and ability to develop and learn new skills.
• Must be a motivated and flexible team member, willing to work on a rostered cycle. (21 days on 7 Days off).
