Our client is a leading oilfield service company based in Perth; they are heavily involved in FEED, Detailed Engineering and Construction for major oil companies. Also, involved in concept through to construction of major offshore facilities installation projects. Our client is completed projects all over the world to date.
The Position
Due to an increase in new project work there has become a need for an experience Offshore Engineering specialist with a strong bias towards structural engineering and naval architecture to work in their Perth offices. The successful candidate will be involved in both Greenfield and Brownfield projects in offshore infrastructure, mooring systems, drilling/rig platform design and modifications as well as field developments.
The role will involve some element of business development as well as helping in the structural department where needed. The successful candidate will come from a Structural or Naval Architecture background and have a depth of experience, not only in offshore engineering but drilling facility upgrades.

- 5 + years’ experience in structural engineering or naval architecture
- Degree in Structural Engineering or Naval Architecture
- Experience in offshore oil and gas projects
- Knowledge of offshore industry design codes/standards
- Familiar with offshore analysis software
