To this end, we work alongside mine owners to provide innovative whole-of-mine management solutions.
Your Opportunity
As the Asset Inspector you will be located in our Welshpool workshop, and be responsible for the inspection of new, used and on hire equipment for use on various projects across the region. By conducting HAZID's, risk inspections and compliance monitoring you will ensure LCPL safety standards are maintained and adhered to on all mobile plant and light vehicles. As part of this role you will be responsible for associated reporting, and you may be required to undertake occasional short term site visits.
You will have a strong mechanical background in heavy equipment within the mining industry preferably on Caterpillar, Leibherr and Atlas Copco equipment, and a relevant and recognised trade certificate.
Intermediate computer skills will be highly regarded.
This position would suit someone who is tired of the FIFO lifestyle, but still enjoys working around heavy mobile plant equipment.
