The Company
Our Partner a major Gold producer is looking to grow and develop its project across the Asia Pacific region. With major investment capital approved and multiple feasibility studies underway this is a once in a life time opportunity to work across multiple projects from Greenfields exploration to production.

We are looking for a talented Senior Resource/Project Geologist to help guide the current resource definition program and provide leadership to the technical services team based in Brisbane CBD. This is a highly pivotal role with occasional site visit included overseas projects. The Role
The Senior Resource Geologist will directly report to the Group Manger of Resources & Exploration. This will be both a highly challenging and rewarding role; encompassing the evaluation of exploration project data, planning and implementing resource definition programs and developing high quality resources and reserves models across different projects.

• Manage resource estimation & reserves development projects.
• Lead resource wireframe and block model updates,.
• Assist with 3D exploration target generation.
• Oversee QA/QC data validation monitoring and reporting.
• Mentor junior and project geologists.

Requirement:

• 7-10 years' experience within a mining geology position
• Recent resource and reserve estimation experience on epithermal gold deposits.
• In depth knowledge of open pit and/or underground metalliferous operations.
• Proven ability in mentoring a mixed team of Geologists on periodic
• Expert knowledge of mining software - specific to resource modelling
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
