Professional Senior Project Director required for CV$1b+ Assignment!
While it is true that there are few large projects that have been released for tender and subsequent award of late, the CSG industry in Qld is still aggressively moving forward. With large supply contracts already signed by owner/operators, the emphasis has now shifted to delivery of these substantial portions of work and many of the worlds leading contractors have stepped up to express their interest!
One mammoth package of work is the Mechanical and Electrical components of these projects and our client, a multidiscipline delivery professional capable of mobilising to any location to deliver a project, have successfully won this package and are keen to get stuck into the delivery of it ASAP!
However, One integral component is missing – a Senior Project Director capable of taking a holistic approach to the project in terms of management and direction, and who has additionally successfully delivered large mechanical/electrical Oil and Gas Projects.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing, building and leading a high performance team
- Developing a Project Management Plan and related annexures to provide direction
- Ensuring overall project compliance to all Management Plans including SHEQ
- Developing a strong relationship with all internal and external stakeholders
- Reviewing constructability with the construction and design team
- Technical review of completed packages- Financial Management and reporting together with the commercial team and Project Manager
- Review and reporting of progress to all stakeholders
- Dealing with local and state government authorities
A Best fit for this role would be a candidate possessing a Tertiary qualification in Engineering, professional attitude, familiarity with the difficulties of FIFO Projects, senior level management experience and a focus on delivering large Mechanical and Electrical projects over CV$500m to the clients satisfaction.Up to the task?
