In line with company growth, we're seeking to appoint a high calibre Safety Manager, OHS Risk
Based in Balikpapan and reporting direct to our Executive Manager Safety, your key accountabilities will include but not be limited to…

• Planning, coordinating and monitoring compliance to our client's as well as TCI's Safety requirements on our projects
• Implementation and monitoring of compliance to the Thiess suite of safety procedures
• Reviewing and updating the Risk Assessments and Critical Risk Registers across all TCI projects
• Review company significant incident trends and inculcate causes and controls into Critical Risk Registers
• The updating and monitoring of mechanisms (audits, inspections, SBO's) with controls associated with Critical Risks
• The provision of leadership, motivation, direction and assistance to TCI's project staff to sustain and improve TCI safety management systems and programs
• Implementation of improvements to TCI Safety Management Systems in order to ensure the conservation of people, property, environment and company profits
• Contributing to a positive teamwork environment and communicating openly and honestly at all times.

• A tertiary level safety qualification
• Extensive knowledge, skills and experience in safety management systems
• Sound written & verbal skills

You should also be able to clearly demonstrate previous results having attained the teamwork and respect of local communities and adherence to relevant environmental standards.
