Reliability and Asset Management Manager

In partnership with a major player in the Australian and global mining industries, we are currently seeking an experiencedReliability Manager to join their team at their Central Queensland processing refinery. This is a business critical position where you will play a leading role to ensure all equipment on site is operated and maintained efficiently and cost effectively whilst maximising value generation. This is your chance to join this hugely successful and reputable organisation that operates multiple open cut and underground projects and produces a wide range of commodities.
In this role, you will report into the General Manager of Operations and you will work closely with the Operations Manager and Site Services Manager. Your key tasks include providing functional and strategic direction on site across the planning, shutdown maintenance, contractor maintenance, reliability engineering and the reliability improvement functions. You will also be heavily involved with major shutdowns on site, lead a team that consists of a reliability superintendent, planning superintendent, shutdown superintendent and a contract manager superintendent, oversee 100 plus external contractors on site and work across multi-disciplinary teams.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
• Extensive reliability management experience at this level in a similar role

• Tertiary qualifications in engineering
• The ability to lead large multi-disciplinary teams (internal/external)

• Asset management experience in a heavy processing environment
• Strong communication skills to influence, direct and encourage employees

You will also have financial accountabilities where you will manage and report on financial areas of responsibility and ensure work is conducted with company regulations and policies and develop plans to achieve safety strategies and objectives.
