The Role

As Maintenance Manager you will beaccountablefor all areas oftheMaintenance Department with a key focus of the position being the management of CAT and Atlas Copco OEMs, ensuring the provision of services is in accordance with the terms and conditions of their respective FMC agreements, additionally tomanagethe Companies Thai national workforce engaged in the maintenance of an aging fleet of non FMC equipment and supporting departments.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for the position you will possess a mechanical trade background ideally obtained through the CAT dealership network with a sound knowledge of heavy earthmoving equipment in addition to previous experience in maintenance management.

Preferentially you will have strong technical knowledge of systems and procedures related to CAT open pit mining equipment and FMC or MARC type agreements. Experience with O&K RH-40 and RH-90 excavatorsalong with Atlas Copco drills would be an advantage.

Key to the role will be your outstanding leadership and coaching skills to be applied in the development of the Companies Thai national maintenance personnel. Previous experience in the training / mentoring of national employees with limited English would be an asset.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to safety leadership in previous positions and be able to transfer this knowledge in the development of the workforce.

This is a challenging position that would best suit an individual who is systematic in approach with well developed organizational skills and a high degree of patience. Cultural sensitivity is a prerequisite.

The Conditions

• Remuneration is 10,000 USD per month
• Company responsible for any taxes payable in Thailand, taxes outside of Thailand are employees responsibility
• 6 weeks on 2 weeks off with 1day off per week
• One company paid return flight per annum to point of hire
• Off site residential style housing, with wireless internet access, satellite TV, basic cleaning and laundry service provided
