The Client: A UK-registered copper mining company whose main assets are located in Asia. They have significant copper deposits that now need to be developed
Role Description: Reporting to the General Manager the Health, Safety and Environment Director will be responsible for design and implement policies and practises on this new open pit mine project. Leading a team of Health and Safety professionals you will be responsible for creating a safe working environment ensuring a positive attitude towards HSE is communicated across a workforce composed of largely local employees.
Candidate Requirements: Degree qualified you will have over 10 years major Mining operational experience at HSE manager, You will have a proven track record on large scale Mining projects.
* 15 years HSE experience
* 10 Years Mining Experience
* Degree Educated in relevant field
* Global Experience
* Excellent English (Written and Spoken)
* Base Metal experience preferred
* Must have managed large teams
