Rosslyn Hill Mining Pty Ltd (RHM) operates a lead carbonate mine. Our Paroo Station Mine is situated in the Mid–West Region of Western Australia, approximately 30km west of Wiluna. We are currently looking for experienced personnel to join our team.
Reporting to the General Manager, Operations the position of Supply Superintendent will be offered on a FIFO basis from Perth on an 8/6/4/3 roster and will have responsibility for the provision of site support services.


The objectives of the role are managing the Supply Chain; liaising with departments to advance operations and reduce cost; continual improvement of the quality service provided to site operations through ongoing review of processes and task; provide management advice to the site camp manager; ensuring that produces and services are made available at all times and managing the vital link between the camp services contractor and Rosslyn Hill Mining.

To achieve success in the role, your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Inspection of work areas, equipment and stores for hazards, damage and defects.
• Manage records/data using Pronto.
• Manage the site “Reverse Logistics”
• Prepare reports and summarise data including inventory value.
• Prepare budgets.
• Maintain the site register of assets (R of A)
• Manage competitor survey.
• Prepare supply consignment contracts
• Management of purchasing and warehouse duties
• Manage department requirements and co-ordinate with suppliers
• Provide technical assistance with overseas orders
• Manage claims to supply vendors for defectives, shortage and missing parts
• Manage support to other departments with quotations for the purpose of tenders
• Manage services provided by supply vendors to ensure on-time delivery
• Manage deliveries of inventory items to ensure that all items are delivered to site in a timely manner
• Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers
• Purchase and issue purchase orders in accordance with current specifications
• Identification and investigation of anomalies between physical and recorded stock levels
• Manage inventory levels to materials and products
• Source new parts and suppliers when the need arises
• Monitor and coordinate deliveries of items between suppliers and site
• To act as backup to the Supply Supervisor during rostered R&R’s and annual leave
• Training of other personnel

• Thorough knowledge of Pronto, and/or equivalent ERP systems, using the purchasing, inventory control and accounts payable modules
• Ability to make sound decisions and work autonomously
• Impeccable standards of honesty and commercial and personal ethics

Ideally the successful candidate will be a dedicated team player with excellent word processing, numeracy and excel skills and will have a thorough working knowledge of PRONTO. Previous experience in a similar role within Mining would be advantageous.
